The Ringer Collection Offers a Refresh on Café Dining

For their first collaborative effort, Kettal and Michael Anastassiades designed a minimal version of outdoor café dining furniture with the Ringer Collection. The high point of the collection is the armchair that features a combined arm and back element, reminiscent of the traditional Chinese horseshoe back chair. The collection’s name is also a nod to the age old game of horseshoes. It was a challenge to make the individual elements of the piece appear to touch without using any visible joints, they shared – but rest assured that there’s plenty of structural support. Kettal’s expertise in aluminum fabrication gave Anastassiades the freedom to create this beautiful outdoor collection that has a substantial appearance while remaining easy to move around.
