New Contemporary is an exhibition presented by Stockholm Creative Edition, founded in 2021 by Ulrika & Philippe Attar of creative studio Atmosf"ar by Attar. The edition brought together design producers and creators alike in a curated selection of works. New Contemporary takes this further by supporting and celebrating the newest generation of designers.
In collaboration with Svensk Form and Beckmans College of Design, the open call exhibition featured designers graduating from Sweden’s top design schools who have graduated within the last five years. The designers showcased works ranging from furniture, lighting, textiles, and handcrafts.
The exhibition sought to create a platform where young designers and newly established creators could exhibit side-by-side, meeting enlightened producers and design industry players in the process.
