DWR + Knoll Textiles’ Nick Cave Collection Gives Back

In a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it collaboration moment, Design Within Reach (DWR) partnered with Knoll Textiles to showcase limited-edition Knoll chairs upholstered in fabrics from the Nick Cave Collection in celebration of NYCxDesign 2023. The 12 pieces were on display at DWR’s Greene Street location for a week last month before being auctioned off through Wright auction house to their lucky new owners. The cherry on top is the artist’s signature on each chair.

Proceeds benefitted Cave’s charity, the Facility Foundation, which provides scholarships and opportunities for young, promising, and emerging artists through collaborations with established artists and partnerships with organizations and institutions.
