For this month’s Designer Desktop, we’re borrowing from 3form’s new woodland-inspired Graphic Patterns Collection, a series of three patterns inspired by elements found in nature. The patterns depict rows of Aspen trees, Black Cherry leaves, and tree rings found in tree trunks. 3form designed the collection to be customizable in size and scale, so designers can magnify or minimize the repeats as they prefer. The biophilic collection adds a sense of calm and nature making them ideal for public spaces in healthcare, hospitality, corporate, education, and retail.
The starting inspiration for the collection is Pando the Tree, a fascinating colony of Aspen trees all connected by a single root structure planted 2.6 million years ago. The trees are located less than 200 miles from 3form’s Salt Lake City headquarters and became the jumping point for the collection.
